Heaven & Earth has been put on hiatus as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bass player/vocalist Steve Priest to reform Sweet. They are in the process of booking their Summer tour and intend to come over to Europe in the new year.

Stuart and Richie from Heaven & Earth will be playing with legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth as part of his "Sky Academy" to be held in the main auditorium at the Musicians Institute on Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood both tonight, (Friday, August 24th) and tomorrow night, (Saturday, August 25th). Show begins at 8.00pm.

For those of you in the Los Angeles area in June, Heaven & Earth will be playing a benefit concert to raise money for the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation that helps the families of officers killed or injured in the line of duty.
The concert is at The Avalon, (The old Palace) in Hollywood, www.avalonhollywood.com on Wednesday, June 13th and will be headlined by Paul Rodgers, (Free/Bad Company/The Firm/Queen) with Heaven & Earth supporting. Also on the bill will be the all girl AC/DC tribute band Thund-her-struck and an acoustic set by
Mark Castrillon. Doors open at 7.30pm
The evening will be MC'd by Cynthia Fox of KLOS. All the artists have donated their time free and 100% of the proceeds raised on the evening will go to the Memorial Foundation.

The event is put on to benefit Childrens Hospitals of Los Angeles and will start at 7.00PM. For those of you in the Los Angeles area, Stuart & Richie along with other members of Heaven & Earth will be appearing with Persian artist Andy Madadian at The Grove in Anaheim on Friday, March 9th. Andy is considered the top Persian singer and has sold over 60,000,000 albums worldwide. On his last album, "City of Angels" Andy recorded his hit "Marde Tanha" with Heaven & Earth and the band will be joining him onstage on Friday night for this song.

For those of you in the Los Angeles area the L.A.P.D. are holding a Celebrity Texas Hold'em Charity Tournament to raise money for the Police Memorial Fund on Thursday, November 16th at The Hollywood Park Casino, 3883 W Century Blvd, Inglewood, Ca 90303. Start time is 6.00pm. Stuart Smith will be playing in the tournament.
Admission is $25.00 or $250.00 for a seat in the tournament. The money raised goes to help the families of officers injured or killed in the line of duty.

Stuart & Richie from Heaven & Earth have been invited to join legendry guitarist, Uli Jon Roth onstage for his 3 night presentation of his Sky Acadamy to be held at Ralph Freud Theatre on the UCLA Campus in West Los Angeles on Wed, May 24th/Friday, May 26th/Saturday, May 27th. Other notable guests will include Don Dokken, Howard Leese, David Paich, Dyna Shirisaki, Sammie Jay, Lori Carpenter, Roy Z and many others. The event starts at 8.00pm each night and is open to the public. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
Stuart will be playing in the LAPD Celebrity Golf Tournament again this year on May 20th at Rancho Park Golf Course in West Hollywood. The event runs from 8.00am to 4.00pm and is open to the public. Andy is the biggest star on the Persian music scene with over 60,000,000 in album sales, and the track called Mardeh Tanha, translated into The Lonely Man, will be a featured single on the album. Heaven & Earth win at the Los Angeles
All Access Music Awards Show.
Heaven & Earth had a good night at the All Access Music Awards Show on Saturday night. Stuart won the award for "Best Guitarist" for the second year running. Richie won the "Best Drummer" award, Stu Simone won "Best Keyboard Player" and Joe Petro won the award for "Best Bass Player"
Kelly Hansen from Foreigner also won the "Best Male Singer" award.
The band headlined the night with a short set and were joined onstage by Joe Lynn Turner, Kelly Hansen and Bobby Kimball of Toto, for the encores.
